The main objective of the South School on Internet Governance is training new opinion leaders in all aspects of Internet governance from a global perspective and with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean.
During five days of intensive training, students will learn how to govern Internet, the political implications, economic, social and legal, the role of ICANN, the Internet Governance Forum, the legal aspects of security and privacy on the Internet as well as freedom of expression, SMEs and e-commerce, new business opportunities, intellectual property protection, the fight against cybercrime, digital divide and its impact on the development of the Internet and its future.
