New Roots for People & Planet
Pacuare River, Costa Rica: Sixty Internet Delegates from every region of the world will gather on the banks of the Pacuare River with expert river guides from Rios Tropicales to learn about the lungs of the planet deep in the heart of the rainforest. “Responsible travel, sustainable development, ecotourism, geo tourism, they’re all about people travelling and doing something about our beautiful planet.” said Fernando Esquivel co-founder of Rios Tropicales. The Internet’s policy makers and stakeholders will explore the Costa Rican interior and its ecosystem on a river rafting expedition, and take action with the globally recognized NGO, Fundacion Rios Tropicales, to plant more than 100 trees and create new roots for the benefit of People and Planet.
