Collaborating for the Future of Global Information Access
Canada DotGreen Bureau leader Joan Kerr attended the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) +10 Forum in Paris, February 25-27. The event drew stakeholder groups from around the world to participate the collaborative process. Sessions addressed opportunities for bridging the digital information divide through education, infrastructure, and local development and stakeholder empowerment.
DotGreen is pleased to be part of process that forwards global human rights. The green movement thrives through information and resource sharing, and a commitment to bettering the lives of future generations.
Joan Kerr, Canada DotGreen Bureau leader, with Fadi Chehadé, ICANN President and CEO, at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) +10 Forum in Paris, France. Kerr received a WSIS Award in 2005 for her work in Gender Equity and Information Technologies, and was happy to return to the assembly this year.
